The idea is nice and I like the photos I chose. After the first few times, though, I stopped bothering with the handle and mostly leave it on one picture. A regular frame probably would have suited me better.
I wasn't expecting my husband to be so into this. He picked it up after dinner and went through our wedding pictures twice. It's staying on the living room shelf.
It's nice having these photos out where I can see them. I don't turn it as often as I expected to, but it gets used when someone comes over and asks about it.
Grandma can flip through pictures of the grandkids without asking anyone to find them on a phone. We put it on the table during our visit and everybody took a turn.
We used photos from the same hiking trail in different seasons. A little specific, I know, but it means a lot to us. The 8-photo option was enough for that.
Bought it for my best friend and included a picture from the truly terrible apartment we shared in college. She knew exactly why that one made the cut 😂
I liked making a little story with the 16 photos. Wish I could squeeze in a couple more at the end, but I'm still happy with how the gift came together.
Sent my sister one with photos of everyone back home after she moved. She called me while she was looking through it, which was pretty much exactly what I was hoping for.
Mom liked it and we had a nice time going through the pictures together. For me it works better as something you pick up and look at than as a frame you enjoy from across the room.
I picked 16 pictures for our anniversary, but even that felt like a pretty short trip through our memories. My husband thought it was cute. I was hoping I'd get more into the flipping part than I did.
My wife really liked the personal side of it. I thought the turning would be something we'd do every day, but mostly it sits on her dresser between little looks through the pictures.
My grandma's old photos deserved better than a folder on my laptop. Choosing eight of them for this was harder than I thought, but I'm glad I finally did something with them.
I did one photo from each year we've been together. My boyfriend actually noticed which years I picked without me explaining it. Such a sweet anniversary gift.
Made this for my dad with photos from our fishing trips over the years. He doesn't say much about gifts, but he immediately cleared a spot for it by his chair.
The pictures with just one or two people are my favorites in this. A couple of busy group shots don't get much attention when we flip through. I'd pick simpler photos next time.
I enjoy it more when I turn slowly. When I rush through, I barely look at the pictures. My kids just want to crank it nonstop, so we have to take turns.
I chose 16 photos from our vacation and now wish I'd used fewer similar shots. Three beach pictures in a row was probably overkill. The idea is sweet though.
Got the 16-photo one and filled it with pictures from our road trip. We ended up sitting at the kitchen table going through them and talking about all the places we stopped. Really happy I did this.
Happy with it overall. I put it on a high shelf at first, which was a bad idea since you need to reach the handle. It's getting more attention now that I've moved it.
This has become the thing guests pick up when they sit down in our living room. Then I get to explain why there's a picture of a sandwich in the middle of our vacation photos.
Sweet gift, and the hand crank is a fun touch. Personally I'd rather sit down and look through a bigger album, but my sister was happy having a few favorite photos right on her desk.
